How we got here
2018
Webflow from the start
Christopher Leon started building websites as a freelancer, and Webflow quickly became his tool of choice. It gave the designer real control of the front end and gave the client a content system they could run without calling a developer.
2023
Essential Downtime, LLC
The practice became a company with a simple model: design it, build it, hand it off, and teach your team to run it. Every site lives in an account the client owns. That is still how we build.
2026
One partner for the whole technical layer
We rebuilt how we work around AI tools, with a person in charge of every decision. Once the build stopped being the hard part, it was clear what clients needed most: one partner for the site, search, analytics, ads and the custom software a growing business eventually needs. So that is what we offer now.

Full stack
Internal tools for your team, like dashboards, inboxes and portals, and apps for your customers, like member accounts and ticketing. Built on React, Next.js and Supabase, and run by us.
