JD Fields & Company is a global leader in steel products for infrastructure, marine, and energy markets. With a strong legacy and established design in place, their website didn’t need reinvention—it needed to be re-engineered for speed, scalability, and future growth.

Essential Downtime was brought in to rebuild the existing site using a more agile, modern development stack. Our goal was to preserve the site’s high-end look and feel while enhancing performance, flexibility, and publishing speed across the board.

Approach

Rather than redesigning, we executed a pixel-perfect migration of JDFields.com into Webflow, maintaining visual integrity while streamlining how the site is managed. This move empowered the internal team to update and expand the site quickly—without waiting on development cycles.

We integrated CMS collections for both blog articles and case studies, enabling editors to easily add new content with custom categories and featured images.

A standout feature of the site is the interactive Locations page, powered by a custom JavaScript integration using amCharts. This dynamic map solution lets users explore JD Fields’ regional and global presence with a premium, data-rich experience.
