Os Galindo is a standout name in Houston’s creative scene—known for his commanding photography across theater, portraiture, weddings, and commercial projects. With a strong reputation and a distinct visual style, Os needed a portfolio that matched the quality and elegance of his work.

Rather than using a generic template or off-the-shelf platform, Os came to Essential Downtime for a fully custom-built site—something timeless, intentional, and editorial in its presence.

Approach

We designed a multi-page portfolio site anchored by striking minimalism and a custom left-hand navigation—a bold structural choice that immediately sets the tone for the experience. The layout is clean and deliberate, allowing Os’s work to take center stage without distraction.

This is not a CMS-based site. Instead, we built a fully static portfolio with handcrafted layouts for each gallery. We maintain an ongoing relationship with Os to manage and reorder new work as needed, ensuring every update fits within the refined visual rhythm of the site.
